Small Business and Commercial

Willdan has implemented the ConEdison Small Business & Nonprofit Program since 2009. This program is focused on energy efficiency measures for small businesses in New York City and Westchester. Since the program’s inception, ConEdison has expanded the territory served, and Willdan has supported the transition from lighting-focused to gas-saving and electrification measures and assisted with targeted reductions in load-constrained networks. As part of this program, Willdan manages a massive contractor network that performs outreach and install projects, provides incentive administration, and leverages local team members to install projects for hard-to-reach businesses and nonprofits. Willdan has delivered more than 50,000 projects, 1,000 GWh, and 600,000 therms of annualized savings for ConEdison customers.

Willdan has administered the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Commercial Direct Install Program since 2013. We have helped LADWP identify market needs and transition program offerings to best serve their businesses. Our approach leverages partnerships with local community-based organizations to engage low-income and disadvantaged communities, reaching underserved businesses in the Los Angeles area. To date, Willdan has delivered more than 74,000 projects and more than 500 GWh in annualized savings for LADWP customers.
