Comprehensive Review and Organizational Assessment of the Burbank Police Department, Burbank, California—Willdan was retained by the City to provide a quality, thorough and objective organizational assessment and comprehensive review of the Police Department. Following a transition of leadership, the City was interested in identifying areas of ‘best practices”. Focus groups were developed, data collection methods established and benchmark cities were identified for comparative purposes. Willdan's detailed report provided recommendations and implementation guidelines to improve the overall service of the Department and position it for enhanced service delivery in the future.
