Representative Projects
City of Rosemead, Garvey Avenue over the Rio Hondo Channel HBRR Bridge Replacement — Los Angeles County, California
Willdan provided program management services including engineering design, survey, geotechnical engineering, hydrological/hydraulic evaluation, environmental documentation, utility coordination, full contract management, and federal labor compliance services for the replacement of Garvey Avenue Bridge over the Rio Hondo Channel. A state-of-the-art spliced precast concrete bulb tee girder design was adopted for the replacement structure. HBRR funded the $10 million construction of the new 655-foot-long bridge.
Willdan worked closely with Caltrans District 7 to successfully complete this project, following the Caltrans Local Procedures Manual and HBRR programs.
City of Fountain Valley, Recreation Center Expansion — Orange County, California
Willdan is providing full construction management services for this 55-acre facility which includes roadways; parking lots; pedestrian walkways; sports facilities; and public-use amenities, including landscaping, irrigation, playing fields, stadium amenities, jogging paths, maintenance building, and lighting. The project amenities are spread over 76 acres near the Mile Square Park area. Willdan will provide design and surveying services during this phase of the project. The construction management phase will include program management, inspection, and materials testing.
City of Roseville, Major Infrastructure Development — Placer County, California
The City of Roseville hired Willdan to provide construction management, observation, mitigation monitoring, special inspection and materials testing for four major development projects valued at a total of over $120 million.
The North Central Specific Plan; Del Webb Specific Plan Phases I, II and III; North Roseville Specific Plan Phases I, II and III; and the Stoneridge Specific Plan projects involved streets, bridges, box culverts, millions of yards of earth moved through mass grading, rock crushing facilities assembled to make crushed rock and aggregate base, water mains, sanitary sewer stations and mains, storm systems and detention basins, joint utilities, street lights, traffic signals, parks, golf courses, open space, residential, office space, businesses and schools.
